The Lie About Men, Leadership, and Why Women Are Tired of Waiting
They told us men were the leaders.
They told us women were the support.
But if that were true…
why are women the ones holding everything together?
We manage the emotions.
We track the birthdays, the needs, the shifts in energy, the unsaid tension in the room.
We regulate households, families, friendships, workplaces, and entire communities.
And yet we’re still told:
“Wait. Be chosen. Let him lead.”
So we wait.
We shrink.
We soften ourselves into silence.
And nothing happens.
Because the truth is:
they are waiting for us.
The Unspoken Reality
Society taught women to be subordinate, while quietly depending on us to run everything.
It taught men they were the prize, while stripping them of emotional responsibility.
So now we’re stuck in this strange moment in history:
Women who know their power but are told to hide it.
Men who want to be chosen but don’t know how to lead.
And we call that “chemistry.”
But it’s not chemistry.
It’s confusion.
The Trap of “Feminine vs Masculine”
I used to believe:
If I lead, I’m in my masculine.
If I wait, I’m in my feminine.
But that thinking is a cage.
Because being whole means I get to:
initiate and receive
lead and soften
be direct and sensual
hold power and be adored
I don’t have to amputate half of myself to be desired.
I don’t need to perform fragility to be chosen.
I don’t need to disappear so someone else can feel tall.
The Real Shift
What I was taught:
“If I lead, I’ll be too much.
If I wait, I’ll be chosen.”
What I now know:
If I lead from truth, I attract alignment.
If I wait from fear, I attract confusion.
I am not meant to audition for a role in someone else’s life.
I am meant to author the dynamic I desire.
Speak, Goddess Truth
I don’t abandon my power to prove I’m desirable.
I let my clarity be the invitation.
I don’t chase.
I don’t shrink.
I don’t wait in silence.
I speak.
I choose.
I lead — and I allow myself to be met.
That is not masculine.
That is not feminine.
That is sovereign.
And sovereignty is the new romance.
